This initiative is sponsored by The Skin Care Campaign
In September 2008 Gordon Brown promised free prescriptions for people living in England with a long term condition - so far he has not kept this promise.
We need Gordon Brown to take action in the next few weeks so that the law can be changed before the general election.
Please email your MP asking they make one last effort to raise this vitally important issue urgently and in person. Please take 2 minutes by following this link:
http://e-activist.com/ea-campaign/clientcampaign.do?ea.client.id=66&ea.campaign.id=5546
And please consider sending this to your friends and contacts.
Thank you for your support. Apologies if this is the second time you've received this request but it really is a very important issue and we must get as much support as possible.
The Vitiligo Society is working with the SCC which is part of a coalition of charities, including Asthma UK, Mind, the Stroke Association, the Parkinson's Disease Society and NASS, working on this. There will be a concerted effort on February 1st to really hassle the PM into action - including telephoning every MP about this, bombarding the PMs twitter site and a protest outside parliament (please email if you are interested in going along).
For those that may not have seen it - here is an article from a recent issue of Sunday's Observer about this -
